FAQs

Clear answers about eligibility, telehealth, labs, prescriptions, payment, Discovery, and what to expect from care at ReviveHer Health.

Eligibility & Telehealth

Do you provide medical care outside of Texas?

No. ReviveHer Health currently provides medical care to Texas residents only.

Educational resources may be available to women outside Texas, but diagnosis, lab interpretation, prescriptions, and treatment planning require Texas eligibility.

back

Is everything done virtually?

Most care at ReviveHer Health is provided through secure virtual visits.

Telehealth works well for many hormone, metabolic, PCOS, midlife, and hair-related concerns when care includes a detailed intake, appropriate labs, thoughtful review, secure communication, and follow-up.

Some symptoms, exam findings, or medical concerns may require in-person evaluation, urgent care, primary care, OB-GYN care, or specialist referral.

back

Who is ReviveHer Health a good fit for?

ReviveHer Health is a good fit for women in Texas who are experiencing persistent symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, sleep changes, weight resistance, cravings, irregular cycles, PCOS symptoms, perimenopause or menopause changes, hair thinning, mood shifts, or hormone-related quality-of-life concerns.

It may be especially helpful if you have been told your labs are “normal” but still do not feel like yourself, or if you want a more thorough, clinician-led evaluation that connects your symptoms, health history, labs when appropriate, goals, and long-term health risks.

ReviveHer Health is best suited for women who want clear answers, personalized care, and a structured plan instead of quick fixes, generic advice, or one-size-fits-all treatment.

back

Who is ReviveHer Health not a good fit for?

ReviveHer Health may not be the right fit if you are looking for urgent care, emergency care, primary care replacement, pregnancy care, routine annual exams, cancer screening, pain management, controlled substances, or one-time prescription refills without a full clinical evaluation.

We also may not be the right fit if you are looking for quick medication access without a comprehensive review of your symptoms, health history, labs when appropriate, risks, and goals.

My recommendation: include both if possible, but if you need to reduce the total count, keep the urgent/in-person care question.

back

What symptoms require urgent or in-person care?

ReviveHer Health is not an emergency or urgent care service.

Please seek emergency or in-person medical care for symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, fainting, sudden weakness or numbness, severe headache, severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, suicidal thoughts, signs of a blood clot, or any symptom that feels urgent or rapidly worsening.

back

Do you replace my primary care provider or OB-GYN?

No. ReviveHer Health does not replace primary care, emergency care, OB-GYN care, cancer screening, pregnancy care, or specialist care when needed.

We focus on helping women evaluate hormone-related symptoms, PCOS concerns, metabolic health patterns, midlife changes, weight resistance, fatigue, hair loss, and related concerns through a structured clinical approach.

Getting Started With Discovery

How do I become a patient?

All new patients begin with the Discovery Health Assessment.

Discovery is the clarity-first step where we review your symptoms, health history, goals, prior care, and clinically appropriate labs to understand what may be contributing to how you feel.

back

What is the Discovery Health Assessment?

The Discovery Health Assessment is a comprehensive starting point designed to help you understand what may be contributing to your symptoms before committing to ongoing care.

It may include a detailed health history review, symptom assessment, review of prior labs when available, clinically appropriate lab evaluation, a one-on-one consultation, and a personalized clinical roadmap.

back

How much does the Discovery Health Assessment cost?

The Discovery Health Assessment is $597.

This includes your comprehensive review, clinically appropriate labs ordered as part of the assessment, and your one-on-one Discovery consultation.

If additional specialty testing is recommended outside of the standard Discovery process, this will be discussed with you before moving forward.

back

Is Discovery a treatment program?

No. Discovery is the assessment and roadmap step.

It helps us understand your symptoms, health history, labs, goals, and clinical needs before recommending an ongoing care plan. If ongoing care is appropriate, your options will be reviewed clearly.

back

Do I have to join a treatment program after Discovery?

No. Discovery gives you clinical clarity and recommendations, but you are not required to enroll in an ongoing program.

Some patients use Discovery to better understand what is going on. Others choose to continue into a structured care program for treatment, monitoring, and support.

back

How long does the process take from purchase to consultation?

The timeline can vary based on how quickly intake forms are completed, labs are drawn, and results are received.

In general, after purchasing Discovery, you will complete onboarding steps, submit your intake information, complete labs if needed, and then meet for your Discovery consultation once your information is ready for review.

back

Labs & Testing

Are labs included?

Yes. Clinically appropriate labs ordered as part of your Discovery Health Assessment are included in the Discovery fee.

Lab recommendations are based on your symptoms, health history, goals, menstrual or menopausal stage, prior results, medications, and clinical needs.

back

What kind of labs do you order?

Labs vary by patient and may include markers related to metabolic health, blood sugar regulation, insulin resistance risk, thyroid function, inflammation, nutrient status, reproductive hormones, androgen patterns, and other clinically relevant areas.

Not every patient needs the same labs. Testing is personalized based on your presentation.

back

What if I already had labs done recently?

We review recent labs whenever available.

If your prior labs are current, complete, and clinically useful, they may help guide your assessment. If additional testing is needed, we will explain why.

The goal is not to repeat labs unnecessarily. The goal is to gather the right information for safe, personalized care.

back

What if my labs were already called “normal”?

Many women come to ReviveHer Health after being told their labs are “normal,” even though they still feel unwell.

At ReviveHer, labs are interpreted in context. That means we look at your symptoms, history, medications, menstrual or menopausal stage, metabolic risk, lifestyle patterns, and goals alongside the numbers.

Normal labs do not always mean there is nothing to evaluate.

back

Do you accept lab orders from outside providers?

ReviveHer Health does not simply honor outside lab orders from another provider as part of our care process.

However, we can review outside lab results and determine whether they are clinically useful. If additional labs are needed for your ReviveHer assessment, we will order them based on your symptoms, goals, and medical history.

back

What concerns do you help with?

ReviveHer Health supports women with concerns such as perimenopause and menopause symptoms, PCOS symptoms, irregular cycles, fatigue, brain fog, sleep disruption, weight resistance, cravings, blood sugar changes, hair thinning, acne, unwanted hair growth, low libido, and hormone-related quality-of-life changes.

Care is personalized based on your history, symptoms, labs when appropriate, goals, and safety considerations.

back

Do you treat perimenopause and menopause?

Yes. ReviveHer Health supports women experiencing perimenopause and menopause-related symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, weight changes, low libido, vaginal dryness, and changes in energy or quality of life.

Care may include lifestyle support, lab evaluation when appropriate, nonhormonal options, hormone therapy discussion when clinically appropriate, and ongoing monitoring.

back

Do you treat PCOS?

Yes. ReviveHer Health provides evaluation and care planning for women with known or suspected PCOS.

PCOS care may include assessment of cycle patterns, androgen-related symptoms, metabolic risk, insulin resistance risk, fertility-related concerns, lifestyle factors, labs when appropriate, and treatment options based on your goals and safety profile.

back

Do you offer payment plans?Do you help with weight resistance and metabolic concerns?

Yes. ReviveHer Health evaluates metabolic patterns that may contribute to weight resistance, cravings, fatigue, blood sugar swings, insulin resistance risk, PCOS-related metabolic symptoms, and midlife body composition changes.

The goal is not just to focus on the number on the scale. The goal is to understand what your body may be responding to and create a safe, personalized plan.

back

Is ReviveHer Health a weight-loss program?

No. ReviveHer Health is not a diet program, detox, challenge, or generic weight-loss plan.

We provide clinician-led metabolic and hormone-informed care for women experiencing concerns such as weight resistance, fatigue, cravings, blood sugar changes, insulin resistance risk, PCOS-related metabolic symptoms, and midlife body composition shifts.

Weight may change as health improves, but the focus is understanding and addressing the clinical patterns contributing to your symptoms.

back

Is this functional medicine or wellness coaching?

ReviveHer Health is a clinician-led medical telehealth practice.

Our approach is comprehensive and personalized, but it is grounded in clinical evaluation, evidence-informed care, appropriate lab interpretation, medical safety, shared decision-making, and ongoing monitoring when needed.

We do not provide vague wellness coaching or one-size-fits-all protocols.

back

Do you prescribe medications or hormone therapy?

Yes, when clinically appropriate.

Medication options, including hormone therapy when appropriate, may be discussed after a full clinical evaluation, risk review, lab review when needed, and shared decision-making.

Not every patient needs medication, and not every patient is a candidate for hormone therapy.

back

Can you work with me if I am already on hormones or medication from another provider?

Yes, in many cases.

We can review your current medications, symptoms, labs, health history, risk factors, and goals to determine whether your current plan is appropriate or whether changes should be considered.

Any changes to hormone therapy or medication are made only after clinical evaluation and shared decision-making.

back

Do you recommend supplements?

Supplements may be recommended when appropriate, but they are not used as a substitute for proper clinical evaluation.

Recommendations are based on your symptoms, labs when available, health history, medications, goals, and safety considerations. We also review potential interactions and avoid unnecessary supplement overload.

back

Ongoing Care & Support

What happens after Discovery?

After Discovery, you will receive a clearer understanding of your health patterns and recommended next steps.

If ongoing care is appropriate, we will discuss care options based on your symptoms, goals, clinical needs, and the level of support that fits you best.

back

How much does treatment cost after Discovery?

Ongoing care costs depend on the level of support recommended and the program selected.

ReviveHer Health programs generally range from $997 to $3,997, depending on whether your plan includes supplement and lifestyle support only, medication management, or a higher-touch concierge level of care.

Your options will be reviewed clearly before you decide.

back

Can I message my provider between visits?

Communication options depend on the level of care you choose.

Patients enrolled in ongoing care programs may have access to secure portal messaging. Higher-touch programs may include additional support options.

Discovery is an assessment and roadmap visit, not ongoing medical management.

back

What happens after I complete a program?

Many patients transition into maintenance care after their initial program.

Maintenance is designed to help protect progress, monitor ongoing needs, adjust treatment when appropriate, and support long-term stability.

back

Do you accept insurance?

No. ReviveHer Health is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance.

This model allows for longer visits, personalized education, care planning, and clinically appropriate evaluation outside the constraints of brief insurance-based visits.

back

Payments & Insurance

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?

ReviveHer Health does not bill insurance directly.

Depending on your HSA/FSA plan, you may be able to use your card for eligible services or submit an itemized receipt for reimbursement. Please check with your plan administrator, as coverage rules vary.

Payments & Insurance

back

Are medications, supplements, or specialty testing included?

The Discovery Health Assessment includes clinically appropriate labs ordered as part of the Discovery process.

Medication costs, supplements, pharmacy costs, imaging, specialist visits, emergency care, and certain specialty tests may be separate unless specifically stated in your package.

Any recommended additional costs will be discussed before moving forward whenever possible.

Payments & Insurance

back

Do you offer payment plans?

Payment options may vary by service or program.

The Discovery Health Assessment is paid at the time of purchase. If payment options are available for ongoing care programs, they will be reviewed before enrollment.

Payments & Insurance

back

What is your refund policy?

Because clinical preparation begins after purchase, including intake review, administrative setup, lab-related coordination when applicable, and care planning preparation, Discovery and package fees may be non-refundable once services have started.

Privacy, Safety & Communication

Is my health information private?

Yes. ReviveHer Health uses secure systems to support patient privacy and protect health information.

For your privacy, personal medical questions, lab results, medication concerns, and treatment-related communication should be handled through the appropriate patient portal or during a scheduled visit.

back

Can I ask medical questions through Instagram, Facebook, text, or email?

No. Social media, public comments, general text, and regular email are not appropriate places for personal medical advice, lab review, diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment recommendations.

If you are an active patient, medical questions should be sent through the designated patient communication system.

back

How should I contact ReviveHer Health if I am an active patient?

Active patients should use the secure patient portal or the communication method provided as part of their care plan.

Response times and communication access may vary depending on your program level. Urgent or emergency concerns should not be sent through the portal.

back

What should I do if I have an urgent medical concern or medication side effect?

ReviveHer Health is not an emergency or urgent care service.

If you experience severe symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, fainting, signs of a blood clot, severe allergic reaction, heavy bleeding, sudden neurologic symptoms, suicidal thoughts, or any rapidly worsening concern, please seek emergency or in-person medical care right away.

If you are experiencing a non-urgent medication side effect, contact ReviveHer through your designated patient communication channel for guidance.

back

Can you guarantee results?

No. Every patient’s body, medical history, symptoms, labs, lifestyle, and response to care are different.
ReviveHer Health provides thoughtful, clinician-led evaluation, personalized recommendations, and ongoing monitoring when appropriate, but specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Our goal is to help you gain clarity, make informed decisions, and follow a plan designed around your body and goals.
